Purity in the lines, ample and enveloping shapes, extreme lightness – these
are the key, recurring features in the new models from the Ennio Capasa
collection for Costume National Eyewear.
Cellulose acetate in extreme forms: huge rounded fronts, sometimes elongated
upwards, broad sides with a spire-shaped cross section. Total black or the
new colours turquoise, opal and mustard alternate with more feminine,
rounded frames, or the shorter, more squared.
Very large and enveloping square forms in ultra-light metal, with double
bridge. Colours with a vintage inspiration for the frames, matched with
lenses in intense colours such as turquoise, shaded pink, blue, brown and
smoke. The mask is renewed by the central hinge and the extremely threadlike
metal frame running around the whole edge. |
